The Sheridan-Kalorama Neighborhood preserves a rich history of architecture, diplomacy, business and politics and the stories of the people that formed them.

For more than 60 years, the Sheridan-Kalorama Neighborhood Council has served as the neighborhood association for Sheridan-Kalorama. In coordination with other excellent neighborhood organizations that have developed over the years, we work to preserve and enhance Sheridan-Kalorama as one of the most desirable historic residential communities in the country. To that end, we promote regulatory and zoning enhancements for residential protections, challenge illegal property conversions and regularly oppose expansion of non-residential uses, such as chanceries and other office uses. We encourage you to join us, your neighbors, in our efforts to protect Sheridan-Kalorama for this generation and those that follow. Pitching-in is easy and can take many forms, from a simple financial contribution (tax deductible), to joining your neighbors as an active participant.
